Police: Teen driver caused $24.8K in damage to soccer field South Florida Sun-Sentinel BOYNTON BEACH - Police arrested a 17-year-old Manalapan boy Tuesday for causing $24,800 in damage to a soccer field last year. Police found the teenager through On-Star records. About 11:30 p.m. Nov. 21, the teen allegedly spun his 2007 GMC Denali, making "donuts" in St. Joseph's Episcopal School in the 3300 block of South Seacrest Boulevard. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is not releasing the teen's name because his is a minor. During the time the teen was spinning out, On-Star received a "collision notification." The documents were turned over to police after a subpoena. Police charged the teen with reckless driving and criminal mischief. | ||||
