By great, I meant, as Annon said, they laughed at him, and mocked him. It just really goes to show their true character when a man speaks the unfiltered unadulterated truth and shoves their own faulterings in each of their faces. It's sad that these men on the stage with Paul are considered "leaders."

True, with the exception of Fred Thompson, who looked to me like he was in agreement with Ron Paul but afraid to say so.

And you have to love Guilliani squirming in his seat in the one shot, you just know he is dying to scream "Terrorists Bombed NY"!

Oh I don't know about that. When Ron Paul was talking monetary policy and the root causes of inflation in relation to our medical situation, Thompson made a statement proving he has no idea what Ron is talking about. "So if we stop printing money we get out of wars and fix the medical problem? Let me break it down for you..." Ron responded with "you can try".

Daily Kos: The Republican debates according to a 9-year old (w/Poll)

I've avoided watching the debates until now because I saw them as little more than exercises in media manipulation. This time, I wanted to watch the Republican debate just to hear the other candidates respond to Ron Paul. Unfortunately, I had a scheduling conflict so I asked a kid to take notes for me. As the debate began, I drew a quick seating chart of the candidates to help the kid keep track of who said what and then ran off. BTW - this is not snark. This is a straight rendition from a 9 year old. The only changes I made were for spelling errors (except the names).

It must have been more difficult than I thought to keep track of all the new names. That's the only reason I can think of to explain why this reporter devised a new naming strategy to keep track of the candidates. Aside from that, it seems they got all the high points.
