Another ACC team that will bite today in my opinion as Butch Davis faces his old Hurricane team that he left to go to the NFL for.Yup, I think UNC is going to give them fits all day. Their quarterback Yates is actually a Georgia product here in the suburbs and although he has struggled terribly thus far, the good news fo him is that he can't get any worse. This team looked much better at Virginia Tech losing by just a touchdown and our friends from Miami looked very shaky against Duke and are not road warriors by any means. I think UNC wins outright or loses by a field goal here with the touchdown plus the hook as it is at 7.5 in most books still. UNC needs a big home win against a quality program and Davis will have his boys fired up today to get it done. Take the hook here but UNC should hang tough much like Duke today.

South Florida is in for a let-down and this is the game. The line off-shoe opened this game around 3 touchdowns and it has been steadily bought down despite the public heavily on South Florida after huge wins against West Virginia and company including going on the road to win at Auburn. This Owl team from Florida Atlantic are not as bad as their score showed in Kentucky and they will come back home fired up for this rivalry and Florida Atlantic will have a tough time getting up for this road inter-state rivalry today. Look for Florida Atlantic to hang tough as they will lose by a touchdown today as South Florida will win but will get a much tougher game than they expect. The Owls are 6-1 ATS after allowing more than 450 yards in their previous game and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.

Do not fall asleep on Duke here. Duke is a solid team and they are getting more than a touchdown, and I said it, I said Duke is a solid team this year as this coach has come in and slowly revamped this team. In fact, I think both ACC powehouses in basketball including UNC has a banner day as well as the upsets are budding today. Wake is having a down year a bit compared to last year as I think they are not surprising anyone this year as people know what to expect from them similar to the Saints of the NFL. Last year Duke went on the road to lose by 1 point 13-14 and if you remember, they were 20.5 dogs in that game. Wake Forrest beat Army by just 11 points at home at home and failed to cover the large spread and Duke comes off great outings against Miami on the road and Navy on the road and 4-1 ATS on the year having covered their last 4 ballgames. I think Duke hangs very tough at home today if not wins outright.

Always stated, if you have an underdog that then moves to a favorite against a ranked team, such as this game, and similar to this game when they Illinois played Penn State, they will push this total over as Wisconsin has to get its "own" and Illinois will get "its" fair share as well and this game will go over. Zuk understands that speed is king as he did in the SEC and he has brought that to the Big 10 and giving teams fits and it is working. Look for this game to be a high scoring game which Wisconsin will find it tough to get out of their comfort zone and sling with this team but that is exactly what will happen. I have this game at 35-28 as this game went over last year on Wisconsin and no reason why it shouldn't go over at Illinois when Illinois is even a better team.

I have Louisiana Tech as a top 80 team on my spreadsheet and Ole Miss no geater than top 75 on my sheet. Which means, can this road team hang within 2 touchdowns roughly on the road against a team that is slightly better in production this year. People do not realize that La Tech played a great game against Hawaii at home and gave them all they can handle and also took Wisconsin to the wire at home as well as they could have easily upset the Badgers in that game. Yes, they looked terrible against Cal but that is to to be expected and this team went on the road against Fresno a similar team to Ole Miss and played tough. Lot of value here on La Tech on the road against an Ole Miss team that is not as dyanmic as many people think. Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS as a dog of double-digits or more, 5-2 ATS after a straight up loss and the Rebels are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games.
