deists, theists, and agnostics, if god does exist, how do you think he might work??....what sort of role do you believe he might play in the universe??..would he love us??.what are your ideas of morality?? is there a divine moral code?? do you believe in an afterlife?? or hell??? any thoughts on any of this?? and dont simply say "i cant claim to know because i am agnostic"....i am sure that almost everyone who can accept the possibility of a God has in their mind, a personal concept of what God is and how he might work...

unfortunately I don't think there is a god and he is just about as real as santa clause is to children. but I would like to believe there is a place that all decent people/ will go after there life on earth and hopefully we can find the people we care about at that same place but I just don't see that it is possible so I don't believe it.

The mistake of humanity is to 'see' or visualize god as a being like us. If there is a God force my thoughts are that that force may have created or caused the creation of the universe, but is not a controlling force anymore.

Reading and attempting to comprehend human religion, with it's contradictions and obvious errors and omissions, and taking into account many of it complete falsehoods, offers volumes of proof that the human image of god is flawed. Man created God in his image, and has been rewriting Gods laws and will, to suit humanity, ever since.

In the beginning, there were men, and these men were puzzled by the occurrences of things around them. Rain, Thunder, Lightning. Fire, war, death. There were those that needed explanations to these things. And Man said "let there be God" and behold, There was God.

And Behold there were men that fear nothing and had disregard for all around them, and men felt the need to acquire riches and control the common man, so they wrote the stories and forms religious rules and laws. These laws were meant to control, via fear and intimidation, the masses of the unruly. And there was the Bible. But there were those that could not believe the Bible, and so they again rewrote the stories to suit their circumstances and conditions, etc...

And also note that this general procedure was followed by many races and peoples even when separated by geographic barriers. Man created stories to explain the things his limited knowledge could not explain. Wealth and power then corrupted Religion, and through Human history has perpetuated Hate, discrimination, and suffering in the name of this Human God.

Would the world be better without a "God"? Not likely because as everyone can see, millions of humans have no barometer of Good or Evil or decency without a set of rules. The Human conscience proves itself too weak to function as a society without divine "intervention'. And those that want to rule, and control, find religion an indispensable tool to control and manipulate the Human race.

i believe that god set up the dominos the exact way he wanted them set up...and knocked the first one over....and is sitting back now watching the madness....i believe he is a loving god and wants the best for us, simply because he did create us and most creators love their creations, or at least want the best for them....i dont pray but the only prayer i could condone as legitimate would be praying simply to give thanks to god for allowing me to be part of the universe....i dont believe in hell....i dont really see any necessity for a heaven..if an afterlife does exist, i could only imagine it being kinda the heaven socrates/plato talked about....the complete shedding of the physical blinders of our bodies....perhaps we all become part god in the form of pure rational thought, where the truth of the universe finally becomes evident...but it seems more likely that we just die..god owes nothing to us just because he created us

I do have all the answering, and I am a raging Athiest.

There is no God, no one in thousands of years has ever had any proof of seeing him or hearing him, at least Big Foot leaves the occasional foot print.
