this is another one that is one of my more extreme ones.

technology

we have advanced out technology more in the last 100 years than the past 10,000 years before that. i find that odd. then, we have advanced our technology more in the last 60 years than the previous 100.
more in the past 10 than the previos 30 or so. these are just vague numbers.


i think that we can attribute most of our advancments to the crash at roswell. the crash happened in 1947 and thats when shit really started to take off as far as advanced electronics and things like that.

so, my theory is that we gathered a lot of data from the roswell crash. i think there were things involved in that crash that we will never actually know and i think that a lot of stuff was reverse engineered. thats why we have the things we have...directly related to that crash.

according to many scientists we have been around for thousands of years with the same physical and mental capabilities. why didn't we get this technology boom 3,000 years ago. i mean since the 50's it;s been fuckin nuts how much shit has been invented. the next 10 years are going to be interesting.

i told my father in law this the other day. about investing in the market. he always says he wishes he would have got in on some apple or microsoft way back when.

I doubt we have come farther in the last 100 years compared to the last 10,000. I am not very educated on them, but from what I hear the Mayan were incredibly intelligent. I think the thousands of years before Christ were man kind's smartest times.

Naw, if I recall in the lost library of alexander some text survived saying how some dude already invented a STEAM ENGINE.

Techincal advancement between the Roman conquest and the Renaissance (if you ignore Leonardo's flying machine concepts) was almost nil. Then came the Industrial Revolution, but if you think of it, we were still using steam power in late Victorian era. Its only recently (the 20th - 21st century) that technology has really taken off. Kitty Hawk first flew in 1911 (I think), followed by the biplanes and triplanes of the first world war. And 60 years later man was walking on the moon. Now we are talking AI, nanobots and cyborgs.

Alot of the time it takes some new technology coming out, to perfect another technology your working on... It takes time to figure shit out, you grew up in a world where you go to the store and buy it, at one point man was standing in the middle of africa goin WTF is this all about i was suppossed to be a monkey wasnt i.. if they would have gotten anything from a spacecrash i think it would have been a decent fuckin spaceship by now but they obviously cant even do that. so i don't see why computers and shit would have come from a crash though, and it wouldn't really make sense because that shit isn't tied together the people working on the crash were probably under armed guard everyday of their lives, i doubt they went and started business's... probably never talked to anyone about the technology that would have then been able to go out and produce it. I mean the gov't would have taken full credit for invention a computer i'm sure...
