  | Re: burned cds not working yeah dude. cd-rs have a shelf life. same with dvd-rs. they do NOT last forever. if you get really really cheap brand, after a few years it will just "expire" and not work anymore, doesnt matter if they're burned or not. | ||||

| Re: burned cds not working It all depends on the Laser Pickup in the particular player. I burn all Music CD-r's at 8x or slower otherwise they tend to skip in the car players. I have also found Imation discs to play about the best with little problems. | ||||

A few things to check are if you burned in Mp3 format or WMA or some other format then you should check and see if your car stereo supports Mp3 format , Also If you car is older and has a stock stereo system or an older after market stereo It may not support CD-R Or CD-RW. | ||||
