  | Is Bush a puppet? Although the title might lead u to believe this is a Bush bashing thread it really is not intended to be. I keep up with politics, and current events (I have a pol sci) degree, so I know a fair amount about how a President controls the agenda, and sets the way his administration will work, and what it will work on....See ing the news lately and also just watching Bush (I have never read any books or articles on him personally) I get the impression that he is really a figure head or a mouth piece for someone else or some other group. Does anyone else get this sense?...that he really is not in control, but is merely forwarding someone else agenda and goals. Any ideas? I am not saying there is necessarily a sinister conspiracy behind him, hell maybe its a good force...but I really think that whatever it is George is just a tool for, like he just does whatever they say, and his own opinions are practically immaterial And don't give me bullshit about Cheney, Wolfwitz, Rumsfeld, Bill Kristol, and the neo con agenda...I want some more interesting explanations than that.
