    | can anyone explain bit torrents to me? i've seen different people talking about it on the forums for a while, and recently one of my friends was telling me about some good games he downloaded... but i don't know anything about it, where to get started...  | Re: can anyone explain bit torrents to me? you need to download a torrent client like torrent tornado. just google torrent clients and you'll see a bunch. downlod and install that. after that you need to find the torrent. sites like torrent spy or snarf. you download the torrent from that site. it's like a 30kb file. when you download that you open it with your torrent client. then you wait. it takes a while for large files like movies and games. it's hard to explain how it actually works. you will get faster downlods if you upload to torrent sites. you need another program for that. i've downloaded a few movies here and there but generally it's not really worth the time to me. | ||||
