do you think there will ever be a cure? or if there is in fact a cure do you think that it will ever be released?

some cancers can be treated if noticed early. the late stages of cancer though really can not be treated. some cancers like pancreas cancer can matasticise(sp) and kill your ass in a couple months. most cancers are very painful in the later stages too.

i sure wish that certain programs would be scrapped and all that time and energy focus on getting a cure for cancer.

nano tech is promising and i should be able to benefit from this in my time. nano tach and stem cells combined can fix yo ass no problem.

25% of all deaths in the united states is from cancer. males are more prone to prostate cancer and colon cancer and women breast cancer.


thats my latest fear and paranoia. i am afraid i am gonna get all my tests done for my surgery and then they are gonna tell me they found some cancer in my blood.

Well, my dad had skin cancer on his ear, they were able to get early. I think that prevention is the best medicine. So, get a physical yearly. :)

I also heard that there is already a cure, but its all about the $$$ and regulating the population.

the money is definately in the medicine treatment not the cure. i am a hardcore conspiracy theorist but i don't think there is a cure.
for 1 there are so many different types of cancers all with different treatments. they may be able to "cure" the early stages of a certain type of cancer but i don't think they have it for all.

i do think there are treatments out there that a lot of people can't get cause they have no insurance or their company won't pay for it.

i think nano tech is gonna make huge improvements on cancer treatment. too bad they can't do the stem cell thing.

years from now there will be nanobots that go into your body and repair cells or actually have mechanical cells to take over. no more cancer deaths

a theory of mine, like i said theory..... i think that once they do surgery on you, and they open that shit up and it hits the air it spreads.... how many times have you heard someone having surgery then it coming back worse than the first time? i bet i've heard that scenerio more than i've heard the oh i'm perfectly fine scenerio

my theory: there already is a cure for cancer but the government doesnt want anyone to have it. when the cure is found then big brother looses a lot of money in ripping people off

i thought for a while that the gov had a cure and didn't want to hand it out cause the money in the medicine. i don't believe that anymore.
that would be far too ahrd to keep quiet i think what with all the brilliant people working all across the world on treatments. i think it's very possible that for a select few types of cancer there may be some seriously effective treatments that are not handed down cause the money involved but there are so many types of cancer that attack so many different aspects of the body that there is no way they have all been cured.

a cure or treatment for pancreas cancer is not the same for breast cancer or skin cancer.

the government looses money by it if anything, all the poor people w/ it they eventually gotta pick up the tab... if anyone is holding off a cure, for just a treatment its the drug companies...

plus, for the inventer of the cure they'd get money off of every single patient then, instead of the half, or quarter percent they probably get now because there are so many different types of treatments.. i always thought those conspiracy theories were bullshit, thats why u patent it, and get money for every dose given from here till the end.. thats alot more in the long run, the big $$ is in the cure, people would pay out the fucking ass for that..

There was a doctor that did a lot of research into the spread of cancer and the propensity for it's spread after surgery.

What he found was very interesting. Cancer grows by encouraging new blood vessels to grow to supply the main tumor. At the same time the main tumor produces an enzyme that inhibits growth of other tumor sites in the body that would steal blood supply from it.

When the main tumor is removed, the latent cancer cells in the body all start to grow and use the blood supply to start new tumors.

This guy replicated the inhibiting enzyme, and found that if this treatment were given after surgery, tumors would rarely crop up again after removal.

Very tricky and complex stuff.....
