my other bro. the one thats in the marines thinks the one thats in the guard has it made. he gets military benefits and certain pays and they don't go on those military patrols like my bro is going on for 7 months.
i'm gonna get the cities wrong but he is in new york on the docks, i don't know what burrough though. his station is staten island.
apparently he is "like a cop" as in he carry's and he can detain. if shit happenes down at the docks they take care if it.
he has had calls for jumpers, other suicide, drug bust in the harbor. my bro got knocked out of the boat.

he showed me clippings of all that shit in the papers.
i didn't think he'd be doing that but i guess the docks are huge and with all this terror shit they have to get in there. maybe he is pulling my leg but he seems legit. it's wierd cause i used to beat the fuck out of him. he was a real pain in the ass kind of bully for a while. we used to wrestle when i wasn't real hurt and i'd kick the shit out of him. now he is 18, carrying a 9mm, patroling shit possibly gonna have the chance to see some behind the scenes action.


lest we forget my second to last brother who is 18 and never had a job. his hair is longer than like kobain. actually he will be 18 in may and then he is going into the fucking nave for 5 years. bootcamp in chicago and then stationed in the florida panhandle. he wants to be a fireman but he already fucked that up. he went to the seminar or whatever and all these kids were trying for jobs but they had to piss in the cup. my bro couldn't do it so he lost the shit he wanted. i suppose he'll be a deckhand or a low rank on a big ass ship somewhere and maybe have to go out and float international and watch shit.

it's odd to me cause i changed his diapers, i fed those fuckers sometimes, and i trained all 3 of them how to handle themselves. we used to get fucked up togethers. now they are scattered protectiong my ass. not directly or saying their job is with force but it's cool to see them getting some experience.

he couldn't piss when they needed it. they are all in good spots though. all in from 3-5 years. single, live on base for free. 1 goes over seas and gets combat pay plus jumps rank. all three have military benefits.
as long as the marine don't get killed and they manage their shit properly they could come out of the service with bank.

the one in the marines is at like 2400 per month. he lives on base so thats free. he has no bills so it's all direct deposit. after this year alone he will have $28,000 and thats at the lowest wage. you get more when you climb the ranks.
at that rate when he gets out in 6, i remember he is locked for 6 he will have $172,800. thats a close figure not counting raises and interest cause he'll buy stuff. this dude is tight with his cash though.



so, he plays his cards right he could come out of the guard at 24 years old with about 173k. thats enough to settle down damn near anywhere in the country. buy a house with no mortage or very fucking little. buy a damn nice car and have some shit left plus the benefits you get to keep. then he gets a job as a fireman and makes about 35 grand a year at the least at the start and then he is on easy street. he can start looking for a mate.


the othe roption is he gets stationed to norway or some shit and falls for some dutch broad and marry's her and drags her and all her family here too.

serious though. all 3 of them could get out very well disciplined, financially stable, and with good common sense. they'd be in a killer spot

yeah thats my plan not theirs.

so far their plan is let th emoney build up for the 2 week pay perios and then spend as much as you can on beer and fast food. the marine said that he spends hundreds on it. everyone does. everyone drinks. it's real easy to get so everyone is always buying lots of beer and i guess the food on base is shit so they go to the local town, 29 palms but they pretty much hate the marines there so they have to get in and out fast. they do fastfood a couple times a day every day. that shit gets expensive. all those atm fees rack up. and then what happens you take out 10, spend 7 and instead of saving 3 they'll just toss that too. so it's all gone every time.

the marine wants to stay in though. he is going to try to become a drill instructer. that we he is only going to be stationed at like 1 of 3 or 4 stateside units and you have a rank and make money and have good hours. thats his plan
