Bare With Me, Im sorta drunk

I'm sure most of you are very experienced drug takers?, with a fair few drugs inside of you, but I'm only 19, and am still only starting to 'find my feet'.

Me and my friends have been smoking weed pretty much everyday for about 2 to 4 years, and only now is it starting to play with my head. To couple that, at this last year I sorta fucked about with ecstasy/MDMA/Amptetamine Sulphate heavily, and have done it fairly consistently ever since.

My paranoia is spiralling out of control and I really blame class A drugs for some of the bad things that have happened to me recently, such as splitting up with my girlfriend, as I think they have changed me.

I quit smoking weed and that helped for a bit, and have finally realised that chemicals are not to be played with, but I'm far from happy. I literally think that all my friends hate me and I can't relax anymore.

Has anyone been in this place? How do you escape? I want to talk to my friends but I don't think they'd take me seriously, so I thought I'd ask you guys.

Yes. I have been in a similiar situation/frame of mind.

It is a deeply personal thing. I can't pretend to give u an any good advice, other than u have to do some critical self analysis and see if what is contributingn to ur paronia (weed, drugs, alcohol) are worth it. Also I think alot of thinking about ur friendships/relationships/priorites all need to be re evaluated regardless of how u might want it to all continue.

i say u need to take some R&R for a bit from everyone till u can get ur bearings straight. think things through. give urself some peace of mind. u sound like u know what u want but may not be willing to sacrifice for it........?good luck man, take it easy, take care of urself!

...I always am embarssed to go inside and ask for things from people cause I think people will laugh at me.

If something is wrong say with my food...it takes me like a half an hour of pacing outside the place to finally go inside and do it.

Cocaine fucked me up bad, So i can understand your situation. look back and analyze your previous actions and see what you can do to avoid future problems. I'd suggest taking a break from drugs in general. Try to have a serious chat with your friends and ask them how they feel about you, stressing the need for honesty helps...I kind of feel how you described now, so im not really sure what you should do, sorry... Yah, mate, I've been there. Good hash on a daily basis for a few years kinda fucked up me social life for a while. I started noticing I was getting paranoid around people, even when I was sober (on a rare occasion). I thought me mates didn't like me and were talking behind me back.

I cut down on smoking. Didn't stop, but I didn't smoke before I met someone...i.e. I only smoked with me mates, never alone (except at night). It got a lot better after a while and now I function socially, just as everyone else...

When I get the feeling of paranoia now, I am able to tell meself that that's the chemicals speaking, not reality. Works fine for me.

Smoking so much weed had an obvious effect on my social life.. I lost contact with alot of people cause of it, and I get VERY paranoid around people.
