   | the christmas list what are you asking for? what are you giving and to who? personally i could deal without christman. it's fake as hell and other than giving my wife stuff i really don't care about it. i bought my son some gift cards this year cause i just can't be bothered to go shopping. i still need to buy a few things for the wife but i already got her this body wash gift set from sephora.com. it came last night. as far as receiving gifts i think the only thing i'll be getting is a gift certificate to the tattoo shop. i want to finish my sleeve and my wife knows that i'm not really into getting gifts. matter of fact i hate getting gifts. | ||||

| Re: the christmas list i don't mind getting gifts from my wife but thats it. i feel like i'm being put ont he spot and i feel like i have to act like i really like what i got even if i didn't. it also makes me feel like i have to buy gifts for the people that bought me gifts and i don't like that. i make it clear every year to everyone in my family including my inlaws that i'm not buying gifts fro anyone. i don't believe in gift exchanges for the adults. every year they say ok and every fuvking year they get shit for me and wrap it up. i get over their house to visit and they put a few wrapped up gifts in my lap and i feel like i'm on the spot again. i think a gift exchange is for parents to children untill the kids are adults and for spouse to spouse. it's just how i feel | ||||

| Re: the christmas list money for a bushmaster from the rents, my grandma is buying me a new bird, usually a gift card from my sister& bro in law.. i'm getting my rents a weekends trip to stone mountain near atlanta, we're all pitchin in on a great dane for my grandma, usually a dinner gift cert. for my sis& bro in law and i will watch my nephew that night... then i'll spend like 500 on shit for my nephew, i already got his one of those new escalade cars for kids, some crossbow thing from cabelas which is badass, and i'll take him to the zoo with me one day over break... i spoil that kid rotten i dont give gifts to the rest of my family, i'll usually get some $$ from some aunts and uncles but i dont like them therefore they dont get shit from me | ||||

| Re: the christmas list Yeah gift exchanges are for children. Plus as the family gets bigger, it gets really expensive. When you tell people you don't want anything, they all think that your lying. I really am not comfortable getting gifts. If I like something I'll get it for myself. Feels weird to tell someone you want something, and then tey give it to you and you are supposed to be suprised... Big ticket this year for the kids, I got them Ipod Nanos. And I'm looking for a Visible V8 or L4 Engine model for my older son. It'll be cool to build it with him and to teach him how the internal combustion engine works. | ||||
