Foo Fighters were really good when i saw them, I had always wanted to see Dave and he brought so much energy to the stage.

Slipknot is violent, I have death metal concerts for that VERY reason, everybody is a punk, like if you fall down, they don't help you up, they keep stomping on you. What a twat.

Cool bands I really love to see live:
1) Atmosphere and The Living Legends, (the show is awesome, so much weed going around.)
2) 311 or Phish.
3) Counting Crows or something along those lines.

The best show I have ever seen would have to be Rob Zombie at the Rock is Dead tour. They played with Korn. That show was seriously off the hook. When they brought the creeper out people went nuts. Was 394 drug arrests at that show lol.

People like that ^^^ are why mosh-pits are bullshit IMO.

Bands I've seen (not many - I'm only young! lol) - Blink 182 (dear lord. some girl dragged me to it and then had a huge go at me for pulling my hood over my eyes and trying to nap), Atreyu (really good... support bands sucked though. Best moment - when the awesome dude with a huge ginger mane was thrashing the crap outta his geetar or when the other dude climbed on top of a fat stack of amps and played a solo), Something Corporate (my first one, I'd never heard a single song before my friend took me... They're great live, better than on record- the singer sounds a lot less nasal), Taking Back Sunday were awesome and The Used I can't remember because too many people blazed me out that day... That's about it really... I'm going to Leeds this year and I'm SO looking forward to it. Can't wait to see the Foo Fighters.

Kottonmouth Kings concert in Long Beach, CA at the Vault 350 on halloween. The whole venue was hotboxed and two piggies were standing on the balcony watching all the people smoke and knowing they couldnt do a damn thing about it. Also, people were passing around joints and blunts all around the concert. I bet I smoked 10 different blunts that were being passed around.

If you were to go to see a proper death metal act, you would find the atmosphere is quite different. Everyone likes to rip shit up in the mosh pit, but if somebody goes down, you help them up. That's just normal etiquette.

I remember the previous incarnation of this thread, where I wrote an essay about my three favourite gigs, but I can really be bothered to do it again. So, the top three:

1. Iron Maiden - Glasgow SECC, Dance of Death tour
2. DragonForce - Glasgow Cathouse, Sonic Firestorm tour
3. Rush - Glasgow SECC, 30th Anniversary tour

Currently looking forward to Napalm Death on the 3rd of June.
