hey boon you remember those walking catfish i posted pictures of when i first got them? it was a good time ago though.. their like 11-12inches now gettin fuckin huge..

I have a 150,75, 55, 46 bowfront, 2 37highs, and a 175 all freshwater stuff chiclids in 1 tank, walking catfish in another, some gar and some other big stuff to defend themselves in another..alligator and turtles in one.. i just got the 175 i'm not exactly sure what i'm gonna do with that one yet..

you got a 175 gallon you should stock it with huge ass cichlids.

you can put a red devil, trimac, green terror, and a midas with an oscar or 2 and some jack dempseys and some dithers.

i would probably stick about 5 frontosas in there with about 20 small 3-5 inch africans

i never fed my fish other fish. a lot of people feed their cichlids feeders but feeders are loaded with disease. they are kept in the shittiest tanks at the fish stores. if you're gonna feed them feeders you should raise them yourself.
people think that fish like oscars have to eat feeders but there is zero nutrition in them. i fed my fish freeze dried shit or pellets.

you have to watch what fish you put together.

there are fish called dithers that you can stock with oscars and jd's. tiger barbs and silver dollars are a couple. eventualy the oscar or jd might catch one but the dithers are schooling fish and 90% of the time they aren't caught

I like Tiger Barbs. Sometimes the problem is you don't realize the fish are getting big enough to chow down on each other until like $50 worth of fish are missing.

I love Tin Foil Barbs too, and those suckers can get really large.
