TROUTVILLE, Va. Two California men face felony drug charges after state police searched their tractor-trailer off Interstate 81 and found more than three (m) million dollars worth of marijuana.

Acting on a tip this Sunday, troopers saw the truck at a Botetourt County weigh station. Their drug-detection dog Torro indicated that there was pot among the heads of lettuce that were being transported from Bakersfield, California, to New Jersey.

Police say the 27 boxes of marijuana weighed more than 16-hundred pounds. Police say it was one of southwest Virginia's largest pot busts in recent memory.

^I saw that one on the local news. it was so sad to see those pig fucker cops hauling boxes of weed out of the truck. I'm not sure about this case, but they usually burn it all, or so they say. you know those assholes take some home.

there was another case last summer, they found a big field of marijuana, they cut it all down, through it in a pile, & had a weed bonfire. they showed it on the news. I almost cried when I saw all that weed in flames. they never found the guy that was growing it tho. the property belonged to some old guy & his wife. they had no idea it was even there. they were some big plats too.
every time I see a bust on the local news, I can't help but think....I hope that's not the guy that supplies my dealer.
