We kept loosing connection on 3 diff computers and it was too much work for me to be constantly fixing bullshit around the house.. Everyone else in my family knows jack shit about pc's, so im always the person to repair every pc in the house, and when you have 5 of em, its a bitch to do.. | ||||

Don't know why, but with multiple connections running wireless, the range and throughput seem to slowly degrade. I've been replaceing them with Business class routers and access points in people's homes. My advice is as long as it works don't worry about it but if you have comm problems you need a better router. | ||||

Yeah sometimes you can upgrade the firmware in them, but for whatever reason they just get slower. I've got a Netgear Access point, when it was new, it covered the entire house, now it will only range about 25 feet before it gets weak as shit. Most of the time I don't use it.
But My new Extreme Edition PC Build is soon to be done.....And that will be kick ass. | ||||
