say you find out you have cancer, or something thats gonna cause you to go blind, or parkinsins and loose alot of mobility.. or w/ cancer possibly could get fixed w/ chemo but you just never know... what would you do?



i'd probably live the last couple months before i got real sick to the max, complete my list of things to do and sit down w/ my bong till the end... i wouldn't ever do chemo that wouldn't be a way of life, neither would taking meds that are just enough to keep you alive... if i can't live to the max i wouldn't want to live....

i would sell off all my shit as soon as i found out so i could get some cash and my wife and i just enjoy the last few years we have. go places. see things.

try to come to terms but more than likely just be panicked till it happens

you talk about quality of life mexi and you are right on. take my step das disease.

while in the chronic phase you only have mild symptoms like fatique, dizzy, fever...shit like that.

after 3 years or so it turns into the blast phase and then it's your ass.
bone and joint pain. we're talking severe too like morphine pump. pain in the eyes. bleeding from the gums. internal bleeding. enlarged spleen which causes pain. liver function failure. lose all your weight.
treatments are nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, chemo and if a match a bone marrow transplant. the transplant alone could kill you. your immune system is fucked and you have to be in a clean room.


after the chronic phase and the blast phase starts you got nothing.

nah man. my wife is the bread winner. she makes good money. i don't mean our couch and tv i mean all my shit. my books and my gadgets and my movies and shit.




i want to be with my wife as long as possible. i would take all the treatments even if all i could do is lay in bed and talk to her.

if i was not married to her then as soon as i started to get real sick i would head to malaysia and sit in a hammock over looking some rice patties and mountains and i would smoke opium till i died.

exactly man, you should have seen and heard some of the stories i'd hear workin at the funeral home... i couldn't believe the shit people went threw.. a dog has the right to not suffer, but not a person? thats bullshit oregon is where its at u can get put to sleep there

it's so horrible some of the things that can happen to a person. been reading about the shit my step dad has and think of the worst pain and suffering you could imagine and thats what you have to deal with.

it's relatively fast as in like a 5 year dpan but in that 5 years you suffer a lot.

he is 6 foor and like 220. when he dies he will probably weigh 100 pounds

First thing I'd do is quit Uni, then finish my album, to ensure I have some sort of lasting legacy, then travel the world, seeing as much as I can, meeting as many interesting people as I can. Oh, and get fucking wasted.

yeah... i hated watching my dad in the last stages of cancer.. honestly, it wasnt him. he was so fucked up and acting so weird. saying he wishes he could kill his brother (who up to that day has been one of the closest people to him. shit like that really fucks with you. it sucked watching him go through it, no way in hell ide ever put people i loved through that.
