I'm gonna try to fill it completely with music by downloading entire collections via bittorrent

It's esp. easy if you d/l a lot of lossless audio shows

i've got a 160 gig internal and i have like 120 gigs free.
i hvae about 60 gigs of mma stuff but it's backed up on disc. i think it's gonna be hard as hell to get 160 gigs of music dude.

if you're gonna be downloading full albums i recomend soulseek. thats where i got all my full albums. i think it's gonna be the better program for that.

I use azuerus, and lately I've been getting full discographys... I got Neil Young, Ziggy Marley, and Frank Zappa going right now

If you d/l a lot of live shows you can fill up a lot of hard drive space. Like I've got the whole last Phish tour in lossless audio. That's like 9 gigs right there.

can you make a list of all the zappa songs you have and i'll make up a list of the ones i have and we can toss each other the ones we don't have.

i've used torrents before but i've never had much luck.

plus with zappa it's hard cause he released about 60 albums, some boxed sets, double and triple albums. he used to cut all his stuff too and rerelease it..

if you can make sure you download "freak out" by the mothers of invention.

that was zappa's best selling album i think. it was early in his career and it sort of set the standard.

i think it's cool that he would compose songs for up to a 60 piece orchestra. some conductors said their orchestra couldn't play his stuff cause it was so complicated and there were so many time changes. dude was way ahead of his time. fuckin genious.

imagine what he would have accomplished if he wasn't a satirist

well its a huge file, almost 2 gigs, so I'll have it in like a 1-3 days depending how much azuerus is running. It d/l's so fast that it lags my internet, so I usually only run it at night or when I'm at work

thats why i don't use torrents. it's not the fastest shit in the world and i don't like waiting 2 days.

i can get about 60 songs an hour with good results using soulseek

yea but I'm getting 12 full albums with this... at a 200 kbs d/l speed... if I ran it all the time it would be done in like 5-7 hours probably. I just don't becasue 200kbs plus the 100 the My Name is Earl d/l's at uses up all my bandwidth.
