i dont own a muzzleloader and i havent shot one many times. Maybe there isnt much of a difference, but eh, the dude packed his own shot but did use a scope so eh, prob isnt too bad to shoot.

I shot an elk today. my dad hit it through a lung with his .270 and it wouldnt die, so I got it in the head with my 45.



muzzle loaders are pretty acurate now adays, his was a tits one too. the thing that is hard about em is you have to repack a load every shot. plus they dont shoot really far with much accuracy.

There is a guy who owns a big sporting good center that has like 1000+ acres that has some elk in a fence lol, but in Ga we only have white tail. We dont even have mule deer.

Ive been out to yellowstone and saw alot of elk out there. It was real nice country out there.

i'm not against hunting or eating meat but i don;t think i could do it myself. i'm a pussy like that. i could probably pop off a person before one of them damn animals. i don't know

Id like to take a trip to alaska and get moose, caribou and a big ol kodiak. never thought much about an african hunt because, well , for the most part i dont like black people.


shooting the animal is the easy part. gutting and skinning it is.... interesting... Youll hear some sick ass sounds and there are some weird smells....

with the cow elk we killed, we cut the wind pipe out, then we had to cut the snatch and the ass from the carcus and push it into the cavity. then cut the belly and pull about 100 pounds of guts out. theres more, but I dont feel like typing out the process.

youve got to get used to seeing brain matter and spinal fluid though.... blugh

also, twisting heads off and breaking legs off is pretty morbid... its sick shit, but worth it for the meat.
