   | how is it supposed to work when you get cable i'm moving and i'm starting to stress a little bit cause i don't want the cable company to give me a hard time. i'm switching providers and i want the digital cable and broadband internet.. i called and they said they will send an installer out on whatever day to set me up. my thing is, all i want the guy to do is come drop off the digital cable box. i'll do the rest. don;t want them to be a dick about that. also, since apartments only have 1 cable jack most of the time, standard procedure for these installers is to split the cable and run it to the modem right? thats what i plan on doing. i'm stressing that the dude will say i can't do that and i will have to pay to have another jack installed. it would be so easy if they would just drop off my cable box, turn me on at the pole or whatever and let me take care of the rest | ||||

 | Re: how is it supposed to work when you get cable I had them install a whole new jack in my room... i had a splitter going to the tv and the modem, and somehow the modem wasnt recieving a strong enough signal.. They added the jack for free.. just had my mom bitch..  | ||||

 | Re: how is it supposed to work when you get cable u said u were goin w/ comcast before? dont fuckin stress dude i love comcast i actually just got off the phone w/ them because my new hd dvr box was fuckin up and they are sending me out a new one tomorrow at noon for free.. they kno what they are doin to my old neighbor worked for them and he was training as much as he was working it seemed | ||||
