I'm a race first time of rider anyway, but I don't like Big Fours on Sport Bikes... I actually despise sportbikes for the massie about of paneling they have. I like the v-max...but, for the styling aspects, I love cafe racers. Plus, Cruisers have too much...I don't know, stuff on them. It just annoys me, plus, if you notice the ducati, it's a single seater. Which is good, cause any cafe racer really doesn't have two seats. However...I might break down and buy the GT1000 ducati.  | ||||

If you haven't ridden a sportbike, you'll know that MOST of them are actually comfortable, The riding position from European sport bikes to american cruisers are actually a result of the typical horse-riding position of those countries. The american, slouched back, relaed style is a result of the cowboys, we view our bikes an extention of the cowboy horseriders or some bullshit Where as the european position shows the racing heritiages of horses there, it mimics the jockey position during a race... I remember seeing something about this on the history channel. | ||||

I don't intent to buy this bike as a cruiser, I intent to cruise around town and to use the bike on trips to and from omaha back to sioux city, which isn't that far. | ||||
