Alright so I'm getting a half sleeve done on my forearm for Christmas, so I'm wondeering if any of you MIIDAJ?ers know how that affects the job search and whatnot, I'm going to be a sad panda if I have to go jobless as a result of getting inked.

as long as you can wear a long sleeved shirt without any tats showing your fine. Well here you are, not sure about USA but I mean here we have full body tats and face tats its very common and you cant be discriminated against that as long as its not offensive tats.

Common sense stuff. Make sure your hands and wrists look clean. If you want to land a professional job wait to get hired and then get a tattoo on the wrist area. I believe it is illegal to fire someone for that.

Journalism eh? Hard to say... I suppose that depends on what kind of Journalism... But you should be fine if you go to your interviews with long sleeves etc. But you will probably be fine, some of the older snobby coots will discriminate (which is illegal but they will find some other ways to have an excuse not to hire), but most will probably be fine.
