   | I HATE MY JOB And I really do like it, which sucks. But there have been 2 days this week that other people have counted down my drawer instead of me and I've been $10 short. Exactly $10, both times. Today I think that the manager who gave me change for $100 didn't count it right, and she put it in my drawer before I could recount it to make sure it equaled out. I count my money 4 times, repeat the total, the amount I'm taking, and the change to each customer, and always run my fingers up the bills to make sure nothing is stuck together. I'm getting all freaked out cause I don't want to lose my job 3 weeks in when I know I sure as hell am not to blame for this. I've never even stolen a fucken piece of candy or pack of gum, why would I put my job on the line for $10? | ||||

You should politely tell your supervisor that you would prefer to count anything that goes in your drawer before it gets put in there, as a precaution. If the supervisor takes offence or declines that request, I think you found your skimmer. | ||||

Just don't let anybody put any money in your drawer without you counting it. Make a big deal of it if they do. Make a big deal of recounting your money too, maybe even counting out loud so everyone knows your doing it... if theres still $10 missing, maybe you should quit stealing bitch! just fucking around One time when I worked at McDonalds (for like three months) my register was off $100 fucking dollars. When they told me, they brought me into a room with all the managers and shit and made it sound like I was fired on the spot. I told them to watch the tapes from the cameras and it turns out this old cleaning lady that has worked there for like 20 years did it when I had to run to get change from the manager and left the drawer open... it was crazy, cause she was like a sweet old lady type of person and everyone loved her cause she was pretty cool for an old lady. | ||||
