   | I smoked a joint while some guy burned to death... ...like, right across the street from my mom's house. But she lives farther from the street and it was after 1:00, and she lives in a shitty neighborhood, so I saw lights and figured it was just some drunkass beating his wife or some crackheads or something so I finished my j and went in. Didn't smell smoke or anything, but wind was blowing the other way and the garage that was on fire was behind a house blocking my view of it. I felt very weird when I realized I was smoking weed while some guy just out of my hearing range was screaming as he died. Definitely trippy. | ||||

I grew up in the innercity, it didn't used to be this bad but it's getting there, but I guess since this is where I grew up I have this false sense of security. Like, I don't get nervous walking back from my car at 2am or smoking on the porch at night, but if you're a raging suburbanite like most of my friends then I have to desensitize people to my neighborhood. I'm like the least ghetto ghettokid ever. | ||||
