if you could choose or change careers what would you do?

i have no career now cause i'm injured. probably will be for life. i was a mechanic and a prety damn good one if i say so. i started in my teens as a porter and weasled my way into the garage at this little car lot. left and went to the jumkyard stripping cars and then after a year or so i went to work for the large goodyear outfit and then the dodge/buick/chevy dealer. i blew through all my certifications in ASE, cruised through dodge and gm special training and when i got hurt i was one cert away from ase master tech.

anyhow if i would have known about other things earlier on or worried more about school i would have liked to go into forensics investigation or criminal profiling. i'm not to into getting out there in the squad car cruising the streets and responding to calls but i think it would have been the cats ass to investigate scenes and shit like that.
i never worried about school when i was younger. my father didn't care. i'd stay home for 2 or 3 weeks smoking my dads reefer, smoking cigarettes and tinkering with cars and shit. sleeping.

what about you?

oh yeah. god damn i miss wrenching. i used to come home from the shop in the fall ro winter sometimes and look like a lobster cause i had a "sun burn" from welding shit. i miss it

i was thinking about becoming a fireman... i could do that in the military too... something to consider...
the other job i was considering doesn't sound very hetero, so i'm not going to mention it

i'm probably going to work for a year, and take the time to work out for the service when i join.

my dad wants me to try to get a collision adjuster liscense because thats what hes about to do... it may be a good job for a year, better than working at a fucking fast food joint

i was thinking the airforce at first, but the army may be better in some ways for what i want to do... depends...

check the navy. my little brother just enlisted int eh navy. 17 years old delayed entry. he has wanted to be a fireman for ever and he researched the shit out of it. he's a pretty smart fucker so the navy must have something going on in that department for him to pick it over the others

a fishing guide in the gulf of mexico, working out of florida march-sept and the islands in the winter.

I went on a trip a few yrs back with a guy who did that, and goddamn it would be an awsome job.

That was always what i wanted to do myself, but my path in life ensured taht would not happen

what i do now, but if it wasnt for my love of weed and animals i'd have been a cop and hopefully eventually become a fed.... but i wouldn't trade in my lifestyle, hours, or anything like that, and i'll be head of my department in 2years..

i'd kill myself if i was a sit in traffic, then sit in your cubical, then sit in traffic again, come home to a mediocre wife, and fuckin do it all over again i'm so glad i didnt have to do some shit like that.... I think the first day of a job like that is the first day of the end of your life, cause thats it.... the thought of it makes me cringe it would be so awful

one of my friends, my dealer too, just enlisted to be a naval firefighter. he's into basic training as soon as he passes a drug test. haha. yeah. so he might not make the drug test, but his advisor can get him a detox kit and shit

Btw, nothing wrong with that man..hell, I bet in fashion college or whereever, there is a HUGE lack of straight dudes, so you could probably fuck every girl in the place.
