yeah dude, my ipod holds 60GBs... and it's tiny. Plus, Hitachi (I think Hitachi) has made a micro HD holding over 80GBs, and with they same technology are saying they'll be able to get higher than that. Also, over heating? I doubt it... maybe the smaller it get's the more heat it'll generate, but only if it gets smaller. Chances bigger HDs will spin at the same rpm and take up around the same power to use which wouldn't cause the heat to rise.

Im talking about the nano specifically. It's easier to heat, and generates it more. The mini has the same problem

ipods suck balls, the battery life is shite. plus they dont have enough space to fill all of my music in.

8 hours and 60gigs isnt enough for you? and i think the new ipods might have 12 hour batterys im not sure but mine has 8 and its fine

i got nearly 30Gb and i DO listen to every song, thats what happens when you like almost every genre under the sun, sure a lot of the time one genre is neglected but i still get teh need to listen to it every now and then

and creative have a much better sound, ipods are underpreforming overhyped pieces of shit that caught on and now the public is tooo fucking dumb to realise there are better mp3 players

60GBs and an official battery life of 14 hours, but have been known to go past 16.

Oh, and Moogle, it's funny you say the creative has better sound quality than the iPod. I've got $200 headphones to listen to music on, 9 times out of 10 I perfer listening to my iPod over my computer which is sporting a Creative Labs Audigy2 ZS Platnium Pro sound card. Which until about 3 months ago was the best Creative Labs Audigy card on the market. So with the my PCs sound quality, and the wide variety of music programs to further help the sound along I still perfer the iPod. The only ONE thing currently wrong with the iPod is the lack of a good EQ. Some people complain about lack of bass, however I don't. My headphones would hardly produce the bass even if it was as intense as some 16 year olds ricer going down the road. My headphones reproduce a solo piano in such clarity I can hear the pianist shifting around. Or the saliva in a vocalists throat.
