| TOKEUP DEFECTOR | Isreal How many people belive or don,t belive Isreals occupation of palistine and forceaby putting people(palestions)in camps and stealing there land 68yrs ago, plus our one sided support of them is one of the main reasons we are hated by the moslem world? I mean Isreal got nukes and nothing was ever done to them or said to them by the United states. Every country in the world who has a hostile neigbor wants nukes india and pakistan are good examples. So is the U.S. and U.S.S.R. So in away you can,t blame Iran for wanting them. |

| I need teepee for my bunghole. | Re: Isreal eh? thought id try a quick answer. I believe(just opinion) it has to do with the fact that Iran has unstable and unpredictable governments. Tomorrow they could be overrun by a coup and the weapons could end up in terrorists hands. Although I believe this could also happen in Pakistan I think we slipped up a bit there. Israel would never hand the weapons to terrorists. (this doesnt mean I support Israel by any means). If it keeps the terrorist groups from attaining these weapon it is not only worth going to war, but a neccesity. |

| Hence, my self-loathing | Re: Isreal If I may expand on that Idea a little. The difference in a country like Iran having a nuke device is that it is highly likely that they will use it as a weapon, and not a deterrent. As Taco said, their cuntry (not a misspelling) is an unstable nest of hornets, run by religious zealots that would stop at no lengths to remain in power. They would nuke their own people if the situation arose. In a megalomaniac society there is always the fear that the weapons would be used to blackmail through fear and intimidation. Look at the blackmail the Iranian Government is doing right now, and they don't even have the weapons yet. The only way to stop the Iranian's from getting Nuclear weapons is for all the heavy hitter countries to stand tough and beat these bastards down. Everyone complains the USA is in the middle east only for the oil, well why the fuck is anyone else there? So China, Russia and France just like sand and monkeys in tablecloths? No! The only reason the EU is giving Iran any weight is because they want Iran to commit to selling Oil for Euros only, as they believe it will bolster the EU's economy. Sadly they are ignoring the fact that Iran despises them as much as they despise anyone else, and once they have Nuclear weapons, they will blackmail the piss out of the EU. The truth is, if the USA would stop browbeating the Russians and Chinese about human rights and started a true dialog, the Iranians would have no choice but to listen to the will of the big three. The bottom line is, that the US and Russia and China all used their Military Nuclear arsenals to keep each other at bay, sort of in check. The new batch of Nuclear seeking countries are more intent on actually using their weapons as a first strike tool. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Isreal my opinions pretty much the same as it was in the "Iran" thread a week or so ago, did you read that Ron?.............normaly i'd be for a country having nuclear power and or nukes if they seemed ok, but even the Iranians dont want it, the govt will be ousted first in some way as whoever does it will have the peoples backing, over 70% of Irans population is under 25 years old, they actully like the West and all it has to offer, Ipods are a huge hit, banned, but they still listen to them, download a lot, i coud honestly see them going a more Saudi route and getting along with the rest of the world..................apart from their leaders at the mo................Peace out..............Sid | ||||
