hey i was wondering, what type of dog do you have that you train with drugs? i know that all dogs have good sence of smell but i have a german shephard, all white bread, its alittle less rare in maine, but she can smell my bud a mile away. ill come come from a cruise and she'll be sniffing all over me, its alittle sketchy when my rents are home. i was wondering though, is there any thing i can do so that my dog wont smell it on me? or atleast not smell it as much?

i've got a malinos..dogs smell in layers so he'll smell the bug, the bag, the car u were in, the parts of the cologne ect... how it all blends in for us it doesnt for dogs they can pick out all the different smells, so if it is the bud he smells nothing is gonna stop him esp some cologne or hand cream, is it possible your w/ someone w/ another dog or animal? if not i'd still use that as the excuse if he does it only when u have bud.. but they aren't taken to a little doggy bootcamp where they are taught to hate drugs, i think its funny when someone says i walked passed a cop k-9 car and the dog was barking cause i smelled like bud, the dogs are taught to sit,laydown or scratch when they smell a drug and then they get a rewards so all he knows is if he sniffs out a bag of meth he is gonna get his chew toy and get to run... we dont want a dog to flip the fuck out just cause he smells drugs... i'd assume its not because of the bud, or if it is because of the bud its because u smell different to him...

yeah hes right.....when i come home from a mates house and theyve got dogs and even if they aint rubbed against my leg or stroked them my dog will sniff me for lik 20 minutes

im pretty sure its cuz of my bud, cuz i allways keep it in my left pocket, and my dog will sniff around and then make it to my left pocket and just sniff and sniff intill i go in my room or i put her outside or something.

someday when your rents arent home socialize him to some bud... they learn it as a reward thing to find them so its not like he knows its weed and illegal cause he's a german shepard.. just an unusual smell to him
