    | Japan’s Answer To The iPhone: The Sophia Nani  Here’s to being somewhat unconvinced Japan’s Sophia Nani will make the same sort of impact as the iPhone. Yet, there it is: a smartphone set to be unveiled today at Wireless Japan 2007 with a full 4.3 inches of screen real estate and 800 x 400 pixels of resolution (beating the iPhone’s 480 x 320). That’s an entire inch on the iPhone, which is great. But unfortunately that’s just about where the greatness ends. [It’s got a ] 600MHz processor and there’s Wi-Fi, dual cameras and a digital terrestrial tuner. Memory comes in the form of a microSD card with no internal user storage at all. On the software front, Windows CE seems an unlikely choice. The kicker? For media management, the Japanese firm has opted for Windows Media Player. There’s no word on price or availability. | ||||

It weighs a metric ton for a small device, it is difficult to pick up off a flat surface because of it's shape and texture. ( It also has a tendency to slip from your grip during handling. I almost dropped it three times.) You need 2 hands to do almost everything on it. And after about 4 minutes the screen looked like a window in a daycare center, with finger prints and smudges everywhere. | ||||

Its like the size of an Ipod nano and fuckin sweet. has a mini-sd slot so I can take a shitload of pictures and like 5 hours of video. Already have like 400 songs on that shit, audio sounds great and no special software needed. Just drag and drop like an external HD. Also comes with a badass case/extended battery combo and can run off 2 batteries at once. It's also light as FUCK. | ||||
