this is reposted, but its me anyway so fuck it

Today quite likely was the worst day of my life. im sure ive said this about other days before, but I guess a new bar has been set by the fucking shit of today, the so high im not sure if it will ever be surpassed

What ever could have caused such a bad day, well Ill tell all of you


I had court today, relating to the DUI I got last summer. It was for violationi of the terms of the IDRC, Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center. When I went to the manditory 2 day classes there last fall, they decided i required further evaluation, as they did with everyone there.

So, youn are all aware of the changes in my life recently, the kind that keeps you from having any free time to do such a thing, with the new job, and the baby, so i hadnt had the chance to go yet


I have however been leaving messages with the councilling place I am supposed to attend for weeks now, and not getting a response. My girlfriend called them as well, as well as my mother, with no success

My girl got lucky the other day, and got me an appointment for the councilling for the 13 of April, and an appointment to fill out the intake paperwork tonight. This all occured yesterday.

Well, I went into court, assuming that with these appointments, all would be well, but it wasnt

AS soon as I said that i had not completed it yet, that I had an appointment at 4:30 tonight to fill out the paperwork, he sentenced me to 6 months in the county jail.



I begged him to at least give me the opportunity to try and get a letter faxed from the treatment site, and he allowed that. Unfortunatly, they wouldnt.


I had to first fill out the paperwork for intake, to officially be a patient, even though i allready have an appointment for the 13th, and a release form to allow them to forward it to the court. I had to do this all in person, and after 4:30, as i said. Well it was 11 in the morniing, and couldnt even leave the building so that wasnt going to work

I finally gave up, and went back into the courtroom, to be arrested and watch 6 months of my life disapear. Near begging I explained the situation in further detail, and got real lucky, he, after a very long speach, allowed me to go to the center tonight, and get a letter to bring to the court by 12 noon tomorrow or be sentenced to 6 months in jail

I still have to go to the center in about 3 hrs,

well, i got the letter to bring to court tommorrow. but the negitive is im not smoking for the foreseeable future, and havent in over a month already
