peta staged a protest today at a KFC. That is also where i happened to enjoy my nice 3 piece for lunch. The jigs in there all said they didnt care they like chicken. They were showing this video about how kfc abuses the chickens.

Staging a protest in the ghetto at a chicken place isnt going to get you the best results. I havent laughed so hard in a while.

Macon, Ga. — A giant crippled "chicken" will repeatedly cross the road in front of a local KFC to lead a protest against the company’s abusive treatment of chickens. Other PETA members will distribute leaflets to passersby, and one activist will wear a body screen TV showing shocking video footage of factory-farming abuse:

Chickens are excluded from the only federal law that protects farmed animals—the Humane Slaughter Act. KFC drugs and breeds chickens to grow so large that many become crippled from the weight of their massive upper bodies, slits their throats, and scalds them to death in defeathering tanks—all while they are still conscious. An undercover investigation at a KFC "Supplier of the Year" slaughterhouse in Moorefield, W.Va., revealed that workers were stomping on live birds, tearing their heads off, spitting tobacco in their eyes, and spray-painting their faces. KFC ignored the advice of its own animal welfare advisors, including five who have since resigned out of frustration. Former KFC advisor Adele Douglass told the Chicago Tribune that KFC "never had any meetings. They never asked any advice, and then they touted to the press that they had this animal-welfare advisory committee. I felt like I was being used."

PETA attempted to work with KFC executives prior to launching its "Kentucky Fried Cruelty" Campaign, but the company refuses to eliminate the worst abuses that the 850 million chickens it sells each year suffer. PETA has had high-profile support from Nobel Peace Prize winner His Holiness the Dalai Lama, comedian Richard Pryor, rock icons Sir Paul McCartney and Chrissie Hynde, actors Pamela Anderson and Bea Arthur, and civil rights leaders The Rev. Al Sharpton, Alice Walker, Kweisi Mfume, Dick Gregory, and Dr. Cornel West.

"KFC stands for cruelty in our book," says PETA Director of Vegan Campaigns Bruce Friedrich. "If KFC employees abused cats or dogs the way they abuse chickens, they could be thrown in prison for felony charges of cruelty to animals."

besides the tons at college which were all the same, pointless... another pointless one i saw was going to my bank a bunch of anti abortion people holding signs of dead babies and shit, they wouldn't let this poor lady and her child move, she was surronded, covering her crying kids eyes sayin he doesnt need to see the dead babies and they wouldn't stop so i pushed the fuck outta like 4 or 5 of them and walked this lady to her car and spit at the feet of a few of them and said come hit me and then we'll see whats up but they didn't do shit... so that was walkin in.. then walkin out some dude w/ a sign started w/ me and i grabbed his sign and broke it over my knee threw it at him, walked to my car and left... it was in the paper the next day the cops got there like 15min after i had left and made them all leave cause they didn't tell them that they were doing it and i guess u have to so they can be there so that shit doesn't happen.. bunch of pussy hippies

Im no peta fag, but I do see their point. I have no opinion on the matter though, cause its really no business of mine. untill I start eating kfc or start selling chickens, I could really not give two shits.

i'm not a huge chicken fan, esp. not KFC.... every so often i'll do a beer can chicken on the grill... they need a machine that kills cows, and pigs by the dozen though if u ask me.

its called a gun. I grew up on a cattle ranch and Ive probly killed over a hundred cows aswell as a few pigs.

started with lever action winchester 30 30 then got a semi auto .30 06

youd be surprised how quick a few people can slaughter 50 cows.

ours wasnt a real live slaughter house, we mostly sold our cattle on the hoof (live) but we did slaughter alot of them. we'd get them all close to the fence with grain. shoot em, then wench the bodies to the barn.

Alot of these protesters are going off of old information and propaganda. Alot of things peta supporters complain about is old news and the companies have already fixed alot of the "inhumane" things they used to do.

I gotta say I dont know shit about this, and for the most part dont care.... but its pretty fuckin cold hearted to put money ahead of at least decent treatment.

the fuckers are living in mansions and driving $100,000 cars, but dont want to spend time or money to make the situation right. Its pretty fucked up if you ask me. Animals cant look after themselves, its sad that we are so caught up in ourselves that we cant act decent towards them. to me, priorities are totally fucked up when your wallet comes before pain and suffering.
