I have a question. I've been looking for a new spoon for awhile now, but every shop here rips off and over prices. So this thursday I'm going to California for my brothers graduation. California to me is like the pothead mecca of the U.S. so I figured I could find some AWESOME glass peices for not too much $$. Only thing I'm worried about is getting it through the airports on the way home. If I get my shit searched is it fine as long as its not used?? Oh and please note....I'm not going to kiester anything.

Id say keep it on you. at least in your carry on. they search your checked baggage, but they just scan your carry on. as long as it isnt big you should be fine. last time I flew I had an 1/8th and a spoon in my pocket. also, if there is any chance of a drug dog (doubtfull) than it would be sniffin the checked luggage.

I brought back some pipes from Vancouver, brought them with carry on (backpack) and had it searched, I had to wait as a girl came and took samples of my bag for tests, I was allowed to keep the pipes but am 'reg flagged' which means I get searched everytime I travel, he told me for how long but I forget, doesn't matter anyways, before then I had flown countless times and every time they rip apart my luggage.... I guess I am the suspicious type :rotate:

It does really suck, they take you into a seperate room with guards and other people getting searched and just take your shit apart, usually taking their time prying through everything, they say it is random.

It is the feeling of being violated and helpless which sucks the most, normally in this type of situation I would lay the fucker out for going through my property.

Now that I am reg flagged I should put some wierd shit in my bag, or maybe just literally shit in the bag, lots of shit, nasty diarrhea shit, maybe put a few empty boxes so they have to put their pig hands in my shit, yeah sounds good, aged shit in my luggage, how ya like me now?

I brought 3 pieces (2 spoons 1 chillum) back from rhode island... I smoked out of one of the pieces but I cleaned it a little bit before i went to the airport (I live in california) and all was good. i accidentally brought one on in my carry on, but everything was good (the other two i left in my suitcase) word

It's not illegal to have a pipe on you as long as theres not any weed or resin in it. Don't smoke out of it until you get home and you'll be fine.
