  | please help with sound drivers i know somone here has to know how to fix this i get this error when trying to install the drivers for my sound card  i reformated my computer a few months ago but never installed the sound drivers and now when i try i get that error and i go to add hardware and everything is installed, i have a SB Audigy card. please help me | ||||

 | Re: please help with sound drivers I had that problem alot, and I don't remember how I fixed it, I just kept restarting my computer and fucking with shit 'til it worked. But now my sound doesn't work at all, even when I changed the speaker. Also the microphone port isn't working either. It just came to me, but maybe (if it's possible) I fried my sound card, I listend to music litteraly 25/8. | ||||

Step Two, Look for sound card in the PCI slots. Step 3, CAREFULLY take it out, Step 4 Put it back in 5: reboot. and if you dont know what a csound car looks like,, then go take a computer class somewhere... this is basic computer knowladge dude.. | ||||

| Re: please help with sound drivers Remove everything related to the sound card from the Hardware configuration page in the System properties. Then reboot and try to reinstall the drivers. i would also download the latest drivers first. | ||||
