| Freak | so...what does snoop and russel simmons say about imus' comments we all know the double standard is there. they did the double standard bit on cnn and it said studies show that young kids that regularly listen to hip hop are mor elikely to get into drugs and booze....bwuahahahahaha anyway, if you're a white hall of fame broadcaster, apparently you can not utter the disgusting words nappy headed ho...what did snoop have to say about it? lets see http://www.ktvu.com/entertainment/11821309/detail.html Rap star Snoop Dogg said in a expletive-filled interview with MTV News that Don Imus' use of the the slang "ho" is a "completely different scenario" than the use of word in rap lyrics. noop Dogg said that rappers "are not talking about no collegiate basketball girls who have made it to the next level in education and sports. We're talking about ho's that's in the 'hood that ain't doing sh--, that's trying to get a n---a for his money. These are two separate things." First of all, we ain't no old-*** white men that sit up on MSNBC going hard on black girls," Snoop Dogg told MTV. "We are rappers that have these songs coming from our minds and our souls that are relevant to what we feel. I will not let them mutha----as say we in the same league as him." Snoop Dogg, 35, also told MTV that Imus should be kicked "off the air forever." --------- so, you can only say it if you are talking about hos in the ghetto trying to get a nigga for his money... The rap star's response to the Imus controversy came a day before he pleaded no contest to felony weapons and drug charges in a Los Angeles court ----- ok, russel simmons...lets see http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/070413/20070413005153.html?.v=1 Hip-hop is a worldwide cultural phenomena that transcends race and doesn't engage in racial slurs. ^^^from the same guy that operates the def comedy jam where they talk about us honkeys all the time HSAN believes in freedom of artistic expression. We also believe, with that freedom, comes responsibility. Don Imus is not a hip-hop artist or a poet. Hip-hop artists rap about what they see, hear and feel around them, their experience of the world. Like the artists throughout history, their messages are a mirror of what is right and wrong with society. Sometimes their observations or the way in which they choose to express their art may be uncomfortable for some to hear, but our job is not to silence or censor that expression. Our job is to be an inclusive voice for the hip-hop community and to help create an environment that encourages the positive growth of hip-hop. Language can be a powerful tool. That is why ones intention, when using the power of language, should be made clear. Comparing Don Imus' language with hip-hop artists' poetic expression is misguided and inaccurate and feeds into a mindset that can be a catalyst for unwarranted, rampant censorship." --------------- so, what is the message here is if you're blick and a nigga from the hood, you can say what you want we are losing free speech under the guice of pc'ness |

What the fuck does snoop dog know about "action/reaction" the stupid shit cant even keep his own life in order. "shit i sold crack to put out me first recored". Thats fine and Imus called your educated African princesses a ho. But I'm sure he would never give a white NASA engineer the time of day because he is just a "cracker ass honky white devil". Mr. Snoop dog is a waste of good human. He can brag about selling Crack and fuckin up some ghetto ho. But he will always be a lost soul with his only claim to fame being writing down a bunch of swear words and putting Japanese made beats behind his no talent ramblings. | ||||
