| Hence, my self-loathing | Torture - Part II Since I couldn't find the torture thread, I made a new one... AP Poll: Most Say Torture OK in Rare Cases AP Poll: Most in U.S, Britain, France and S. Korea Say Torture OK, at Least in Rare Instances By WILL LESTER Associated Press Writer The Associated PressThe Associated Press WASHINGTON Dec 6, 2005 — Most Americans and a majority of people in Britain, France and South Korea say torturing terrorism suspects is justified at least in rare instances, according to AP-Ipsos polling. The United States has drawn criticism from human rights groups and many governments, especially in Europe, for its treatment of terror suspects. President Bush and other top officials have said the U.S. does not torture, but some suspects in American custody have alleged they were victims of severe mistreatment. The polling, in the United States and eight of its closest allies, found that in Canada, Mexico and Germany people are divided on whether torture is ever justified. Most people opposed torture under any circumstances in Spain and Italy. Full story: http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=1378454 |

| Freak | Re: Torture - Part II of course it's necessary some of the time. these guys know what they are doing and i'm sure they are not doing it just for fun. you can't just start torturing a guy right away casuse you cause him enough pain and he'll tell you what you want to hear. |

| Brofessor | Re: Torture - Part II It may be because they don't think the terrorists are doing any wrong. They are fighting for their freedom, you know ? They just have different point of view, it's ok to kill to further thier agenda. It might be bacause the US is in support of it, so naturally they oppose it. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Torture - Part II Torture is totally fuckin acceptable...in fact if i was head of the military...I would encourage it...look they cut off heads and shit, we do fucked up stuff, there is NO LAW IN WAR..no police to come arrest u...no higher authority than ur gun...this fact has been brought home to me talking to many vets from the Vietnam War.. What pisses me off is that we lie about...why does Rummy and Bush say we "don't torture?" We do..it is proven, it is documented...we need to be like look "we are in a war, we feel torture works, so we are going to do it...u don't like it to bad, why don't u do something, oh wait u can't can u pussy France or broke ass Russia, why cause we are America, and we do what we want cause we are out of control!" If they said something to that effect I would have respect for them, instead of torturing people behind closed doors. fuck it, we do it, we might as well enjoy it....put that shit on pay-per-view and I will order a pizza and smoke a blunt to it.

![]() ![]() | Re: Torture - Part II Thats too bad...see I really think the US should drop the guise (and that is what it is) of following laws in this war...we should say look the other side doesn't fight by rules or follow intl. laws. so we ain't going to either...kill who we wanna kill, when we wanna kill em, how we wanna kill em. I have had a lot of Vietnam vets (both Amerians and South Vietnames) tell me even sometimes their CO was afraid of giving certain orders cause one of soldiers might put a bullet in the back of his head if he didn't like the order....thats the kind of war i want...all out chaos shit.

![]() ![]() | Re: Torture - Part II ^^U know what would be crazy about all that..like the human race would advance expontentially in each war...because the shit, the schemes, the weapons, the traps, manaeuvers, etc. that people would invent with minimial guidelines would be crazy..Like Mongolians and Romans but with some fuckin better weapons.
