  | Toyota saved my ASS I was just driving home from my girlfriend's in this crazy ass rain, not speeding or anything, all the sudden i hit a patch of standing water. My car started going crazy, luckily noone was in the lane next to me because i ended up over there. The VSC ( Vehicle Stability Control) light and warning came on and my car just sota cruised to a stop. I felt like i was about (--) this close to flipping my car. Thank you toyota for installing VSC, i used to hate that i had it on my car but now i realize its useful. | ||||

 | Re: Toyota saved my ASS People fear change. What is funny is when ABS first started to appear on production cars, I think the Vette was one of the first. The ABS equipt cars could stop very quickly in almost all conditions, the biggest fear was the dumbass behind you without ABS...... | ||||

| Re: Toyota saved my ASS its not so much that i fear change, just that lots of the equipment they put on modern cars is very likely to break. Toyota pretty much has reliablility down i suppose, plus the japs are awesome at technology so they probably have it squared away. Land rover, on the other hand put too much tech into one car and once one breaks the whole car fails, i know from experience. | ||||
