I'll be updating as i go, i'm doing a false botton to get good drainage, the water will sop about halfway up the ramp, have a 300powerhead, and hydroponic clap grow balls... haven't decided on the substrate yet, but i have the substrate and some plants that will be here on the first...

Looks like a nice setup, Mexi. I've got an old vivarium that I used to use as a terrarium for housing a leopard gecko a while back. It's in my attic just now (the terrarium, not the gecko), but I was thinking of selling it.

Anyway, let us know how the growing goes!

it's 4ft tall, so i'm sure if i planted 1 right in the middle( a shorter indica) i'm sure i could but thats not the reason i'm doing it, but when i move out of the city into alot of property i'm gonna make a huge one to do all my growing in..

I'm doing a false bottom, all you see there is the skeleton, u wont see any of that after its done...

do the clay balls dissolve and turn into normal soil?

can u explain waht they are for... i'm just curious..

it looks like it takes a lot of knowladge to make one of those

no they stay the way the are, thats what hydroponics is, just a diff. growing medium than dirt... u have to kno alot because u recreate the enviorment of yur choice. i'm gonna be growing plants and shit from south america that would never live here just as normal house plants.. humidity is gonna be min. or 80%, and it'll be about 90 with the heaters on(which will be on timers) and drop to like 80 w/ the heaters i have on all the time.. automatic misters and shit to, about 4diff lights to

i got a bachelors in biology and work at a zoo..... the tank was 40, the filter and heaters i had, 10 for the plastic egg crating(the white stuff), had the cork at work(background) and then it was like 20 for the hydroballs.. not much at all... oh and 20 for 2 bottles of big aquarium safe silicone, and i need to get 1 more light for 24 or 27dollars
