     | This is what happens when you let your wife drive '3 Doors Down' Singer Recovers From Wreck 02/11/2006 3:16 PM, AP The lead singer of 3 Doors Down is recovering at home from injuries sustained in a one-car accident on a rain-soaked Mississippi road earlier this month. Brad Arnold, 27, was a passenger in the car driven by his wife, Terika, when the accident occurred on Feb. 1, according to the band's Web site. Terika Arnold reportedly wasn't injured. "They were coming back from a casino, hit some kind of water on the road. The car hydroplaned, went down a high embankment and they hit a tree. I guess if Brad hadn't been wearing his seat belt, he'd probably be dead now," band member Todd Harrell said Thursday. Harrell said Arnold has "35 or 40 stitches in the side of his face." "He had a plastic surgeon come in and work on him, sewed his ear back on," Harrell said. "He's going to be all right. He was hit hard, though." Harrell said the band, originally from Escatawpa, plan to tour Europe next month. They have been promoting their third studio album, "Seventeen Days." Their hits include "Let Me Go," "Kryptonite," "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You." ___ | ||||
