   | whats the best type of ram for your buck my system takes ddr sdram. i have 512 but i can expand up to 2 gigs. new egg has 512 meg sticks for like $66.50 it's not the cheapest they have but thats not a bad price http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145416 i figured i would buy 1 and then a bit later add another till i get to the 2 gigs..any certain brand you recomend without buying the "best" simply cause i don't want to break the bank | ||||

Another slightly cheaper, but similar quality alternative is Kingston. I have used kingston ram for over three years now. Other than expected software errors I have had no lockups or loss of speed during that time. And I run the comp 24/7 most weeks. NewEgg is good, another source I get hardware from is :Cheap Kingston Ram Here | ||||
