I've done salvia about four times (note the uncertainty), and they were all sucessful. I've never done shrooms but I am getting either a half oz. or full oz. of them next weekend. I was wondering if there is any close relation to the effects of salvia and shrooms.

I've read all the shit on shrooms on erowid and the such, but that doesnt really tell me what I am looking for. When on salvia, reality is completely replaced by a dream world for a few minutes... I cant imagine shrooms being that powerful, but I was just wondering how they compare, if at all. Thanks.

there's no way you read it all. or at least, you missed the experience reports. go check those out. i've never done shrooms but i've got a pretty good understanding of em. it will be WAY more mellow and fun than salvia. salvia, i hear, really isn't ideal for recreational use at all. shrooms though are THE hallucinogen for fun, and if you get some buddies to trip with you, it's a REALLY social experience.

I am still a little unsure about salvia. Its fun and all that, but I am not sure if I like it. I sometimes get paranoid or scared... but it usually only lasts a short while and then I chuckle about it later. Like with salvia, is reality replaced when on shrooms? I mean, are you still able to function on some kind of normal consciousness, know what is going on, and are able to have some control over the situation?

i was just talking to my friend about salvia and he said he was geting some. how long does it last? and my stupid fucker nvr got me my shrooms :( hes still trying

Well, okay, no I didnt read everything... I was talking about the information that erowid provided, not the reports. I've read a few of the reports, but not recently.

Just a little off topic, but I guess we can let it slide.

The trip only lasts a few minutes. I'd say it averages around 2-5 minutes, depending on how much you take obviously.

I've tripped on shrooms more than ten times already, but i've only smoked salvia leaves. Anyone got some extract to share?

Hey Del, I've got some 15x extract that I don't intend to smoke any more of. It fucked me up good and proper. The the second time I did it though, I had the exact same, very scary trip, which involved all sorts of death and transcending of different dimensions and the like, so no more of that batch for me.

^I had a really crazy head rush from salvia,and that is about it...now shrrooms that is a different story...DO THEM! they are the best drug I have ever tried...plain amazing!
