I just thought I'd let you all know that I got an Xbox 360 and that is kicks a lot of ass. I celebrated Wednesday night that I got it on tuesday by drinking some jack daniels and playing Quake 4. Right now I own Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Kameo: Elements of Power, Quake 4, Condemned: Criminal Origins, Perfect Dark Zero and Project Gotham Racing. Which is 6 of the 18 release titles. Falling about 4 short of what I had intended to purchase on release day. However in time I'll get the games I want. So far the best out of the bunch is Quake 4. Kameo I'm just not getting into... Perfect Dark is literally Perfect Dark/Goldeneye with better graphics. The physics and over-all feel are just as primative as it's N64 counter-part. However the multi-player is entertaining.

Xbox 360 is amazing. The graphics on the games are on par with high end gaming PCs. But the fact Xbox Live is ALWAYS running in the background of every 360 game makes it way better. The entire time you're playing a 360 game you can be chatting with your friend online; During campaign mode, through loading screens, even if you're on different games. It's fuckin amazing. I absolutely love it and it was well worth the $400 I dropped on the system and the almost $600 I dropped on all the accessories and games.

Nah but i have heard very good things about it.. some have reported crashes but most people have no problems..

I hear that there are alot of bugs with xbox 360.. many people are waiting until v.2 comes out to get it... also, I heard that there's absolutely nothing new about it. They aren't revolutionizing the gaming scene like nintendo is.

On a side note. Xbox360's are being sold for about $1500.00 on ebay.

Really interesting article on how Microsoft loses 126$ per xbox they sell.. They make all the $$$ by selling the licensing for the games..

I'm wating for the PS3 personally.

I'm a sony fanboy at heart and Xbox is competeing in the wrong way I think.

Nintendo is damn smart cause they know that if they get in a horsepower race with Sony they will ALWAYS lose, as will microsoft. Nintendo is going for innovation over power. I hope that Nintendo does will this generation.

First Sega and now if nintendo dies cause of this, I will be so dissappointed, the dreamcast RULED..

No way, developers speaking on the conditioni of anomymity said in EGM that the PS3 is like 2 times better than the Xbox 360.

howver I think that means diddly, the differeence will be like that beteween the PS2 and Xbox..except reversed.

I personally think n64 had the greatest games.. My friend has one, we play it almost every weekend.. Titles like:
-Super smash bros
-Starfox
-Banjo Kazooie
-Gex
-Rayman
-Mario Tennis
-Mario 64
-Golden eye
.. theres a million great games for that system

Supposally developers are happier with the 360, as it is way easier to program for than the PS3, way easier. But the PS3 should be a bit more powerful than the 360.

Live will be the key to the 360's success, and it pretty much guarentees it
