| Re: Driver I'm on the line with this one. Either Ubuntu, because it's easy to get the hang of and comes with basically everything. I think it's a little bloated, but you can just remove what you don't want. But, I think you would be smart enough to figure out Wolvix. I recommended Wolvix to Silent Steve the other day, he likes it a lot, and it comes with a lot of packages like IM, FireFox, OpenOffice, and has a good package manager. Says it's even faster and stable than Slackware which was his favorite distro he has tried. They both are great distros. Screenshot of Wolvix.  | ||||

| Re: Driver The Wolvix in the screenshot is using the Xfce Desktop Manager w/ Fluxbox as the Window Manager that it comes with default. I don't use a Desktop Manager, but my Windows Manager is Enlightenment E16. Shit is off the chain. You can install Enlightenment on Wolvix, and also under Ubuntu as well. | ||||

Wolvix is based off of slax, which is the linux live version of slackware, so it is very stable, it's very easy to use, sets most things up for you. And the desktop doesn't take up a lot of memory, so it's good for old computers with limited ram. | ||||
