What he told me is that it does not have as many inherent security holes as Windows amd MS shit, but the Linux Kernel was very easy to crack. He did tell me that Vista is going to be very tight. I'm still not jumping the vista train too early..... |

They'd really have to know what you are doing, whereas with Windows I can follow a simple tutorial and if you dont have anything protecting you I can gain access to your computer fairly easily, but then again, you have to be an idiot and not be protecting your shit (me). So yes, if you know what you are doing, I will agree with that statement that the base kernal if not protected is easy to crack, but I dont think just any run of the mill mothers basement hacker can do it. |
