Week 5 of flowering

Things are looking good and thanks for the support. Have a few seeds forming as I missed a man blossum which popped but it is ok. One or two of the AK buds have seeds which could an interesting cross but am undecided on whether it is worth growing some out. I raised the light for these pics and it helps....turned off the fan too. Glad you liked the stoner chick pics :player: hehe

Well, on to the pics. I think these came ok this time

Pic 1: Worst first, washed out group shot from the front. Lots of unseen nugglets lurking in them hills. A deceptively uninspiring shot. Note:Could be an ambush so stay sharp.

Pic 3: Same of BD bud. Came out alittle blurry, some old 70's funk came on the radio and she was shaking all she had under the flashbulbs. I don't think growing to Death Metal will get this kind of results.

Week 7 of flowering

Well, I figure harvest is in 10 days more or less and hopefully I will have some kick ass indica. BD is nicknamed 'Percocet in a bud' so I am quite excited. I couldn't get pure BD but they had a cross with Purple Kush which Fly and Maggit seem to like. :blazed: So I went with that cross. I have a clone of the best fem which is rooting and seems quite happy. It will be a few weeks to get her back into veg. I built a little bubble cloner from a gallon organiser tub I got at the dollar store. Picked up an airstone and pump from the fish store alittle water proof epoxy later to glue the stone to the inside of the tub: Bubble bubble It works great and recommend one to all who want to clone.

Anyway, on to the crappy pics. I took a bunch of closeups but none came out. The cam as usual likes to focus on whatever the hell it damn pleases. Stoopid clicky box.

High Girly! I got mine here... http://www.willyjack.com/ his thing is buying expensive seeds and making his own. I planted 3 and got three fems but they all went hermie tho one only had one male flower. I clipped the pods all off and hoped for the best but missed one and have some seeds in this crop, mostly the AK99 got pregnant and I am not sure what to do with these hermie bred seeds, I plan on making seeds my next grow tho. If you wish, I'll send you some if the smoke turns out nice.

Fly seems to have herm troubles with her Kush and I wonder if the entire strain is contaminated with herm genes....oh well, hopefully the smoke will be worth it

Oh Lucian, those colas look like the towers in some ancient, mysterious city....they look like proper indicas hehehehe, I have to ask (I always do it seems) what is the smell like??

We found the kush was a very pleasant, lemony/sweet smell, no unpleasant pong or whiffiness...and I'd say that the kush who did produce male flowers wasn't necessarily hermie, she put the flowers out during the last 2-3 weeks of flowering, and while they all opened out as male flowers do, they seemed to shrivel up: certainly, none of them produced any pollen....I think it's just htat thing where sometimes they put out a few male flowers at the end...

I reckon the BD-part will smell quite strong, metallic/coppery....not sure, but that's my guess...

And they are still such a deep green to be so close to the chop, very nice, I imagine this is going to be some fine grass!!

As for your hermie seeds, I reckon you should post them to the twat who nicked your hallide, I've grown the seeds from hermie pollination: I got 4 pure-hermies, and 1 rather interesting mutant....no pics from that grow tho which is a shame as the mutant was cool (like a siamese twin of itself 4 fan leaves per internode instead of 2)

Well, I shall have a few shuffling practise steps for the happy dance of the harvest....can you all count....10.....9.....8..............

Week 8 of Flowering
Yeah, they are looking pretty sexxxy *nods* Tho not ready. The Ak99 is ready as it is 56 days and has a couple amber trichs here and there but I want to let her go another week with the rest to see how she turns out. The BD is mostly cloudy with a smattering of clear trichs so we wait and see how they are on Friday.

High Fly, Been thinking on the scent and there is a soft fruit smell that makes me think of red jello. I presume this is the kush as the BD is indeed a coppery punk that is mainly a mix of cat piss and diesel oil. But all together, everything is low odor, Lots of scratching, sniffing and ponedring involved *wiggle*

And now, like a fabled city from a lost Dr. Seuss book, Xanadu...
