I had to make this pic a lot smaller than I would have liked.......this is the main cola, taken this morning just as the sodium was coming on, so we managed to get a fair impression of how dark the leaves are......um, that cola is 4 1/2-5 inches at the moment (cant count the non-joined up bit yet) But its just how frosty it is that gets me!

Have had to smoke some of the scraggly lower buds, I'm in agony (I get major period trouble which seems to have decided to become worse) and my codeine just makes me throw up & feel a gazillion times worse, so it was sheer desperation, but we were very careful about taking the cruddy stuff at the bottom! Should not have any impact on the final yield.....

Anyway, I think this pic kicks ass!!

Oh, about the clone.....this is the first time I've ever cloned so I know next to nothing about this technique, but is it normal for the Kush clone to be happily flowering away despite having NEVER been exposed to the sodium??
She's only 2 inches tall, and every main internode has several pistils, I mean, she hasnt even begun internodal growth yet?
Is this some sort of accelerated aging of the cloned genetics? Or just a horney plant? Obviously, I don't want to actually flower a 2 inch clone, so I hope shwe grows up quickly now she's established :)

Have you decided to go with the perpetual harvest, or are you still unsure? I'd think it would be a good investment for you to have a perpetual harvest because you would have good cannabis all the time, plus, you wouldn't have to worry about dealers and the like.

AW guys!!! Thanks! Yeah, Tomo, I've got the hallide set up next door so there will (hopefully) always be some plants vegging while I have others flowering. It really depends on how hot things get over the next few months as we head towards summer when it might get too hot to run the hallide. Glad to see you're still around mate, I was sad when I saw you say ou were on hiatus, but your still here!! :nana:

Phessie: Once again credit has to go to the gf for the pic (she takes all the good ones!) umm, that cola is growing like a motherfucker, I mean, that was taken 7 days after the pic of me holding the battery & it's huge!! Hoping to break the 2oz this time, considering she was vegged under hallide, been flowered under 400hps instead of 250hps, the soil was better from day 1, and we have a better nute schedule....um, the last kush yielded I think it was 48g.....actually here's a pic of the last kush......

ive just ordered some good seeds...ice and bigbud from nirvana...and some ak99's...the woods are about to get a whole lot greener...lol...

how big do the opium poppies grow? are you gonna put em outside at all?

Yes, the cola looks like it's going to be larger than Stonky's, but there will be a slight reduction in yield do to some poaching of the lowest scraggliest buds!

It's mostly the smell, kush is VERY lemony, sweet, not got that cheesy/shitty smell some plants have, the faintest unpleasant undertone if you take a deep whiff of it, but it's a very recognisable smell, she smells much like Stonks did....ah, when you come in here to switch on the lights and open the door, it just hits you...........so nice.....

You're going to have to let me know how the ice pans out, I'm thikning I'd like to grow some of that next, also fancy growing a bit of chronic, anyway, we're bound to get fed-up with indica eventually? And did a certain green goatee inspire the ak99?! Hmmm, sounds fragrant :)

As for the poppies, well, I got 500 seeds from ebay, I think it was £2 for all that.....I was going to finish them outdoors, but I don't have a good location and live in a flat anyway, so I'm just going to finish them indoors. I have no idea how big they're going to get, or if they're a normal size for their age (10 weeks).....I think it's about 4 months+ for opium poppies to mature......I feel like a mushroom on this one....as in, I'm in the dark!

yeah my last grow the biggest plant that im cloning now smelt distinctly pissy/wierd while it was finishing...cured into a flavorful smoke tho....sounds like you got the best airfreshener of all...lol...

i saw some lovely crystal shots of ice when i was perusing strains...looks exciting....and im gonna have to try chronic one of these days...and yes the green goatee persuaded me with his enthusiasm....and pics...and saying things like "this strain is supposedly unstressable"...lol...

thats pretty harsh...having legal plants that could go outside...still,the growrooms on anyway eh?...they look pretty healthy,ive not grown opium poppies myself but im sure ive seen those in gardens ive worked on...looks good...

Heh, um, I'm blasted which is good, not so good for Janeway, but we are keeping our pruning as conservative as possible :goof:

Um, apparently I could've flowered the poppies ages ago, but they are opposite to mj and need 18/6 to flower and I've had them in with Janeway on 12/12...........so, repotted the biggest poppy and put it on the windowsill to let it get used to sunlight (it stays light till about 10pm here) then I'm putting it out on the balcony so it'll (hopefully) being to flower with some genuine sunshine and fresh air.

Erm, some pics of the fine lady at day 39.....for some reason the battery I'm hodling looks like it's infront of the bud, but it's right in there beside it! Nice cola now, it looks like it'll make a foot by the end when all the buds join up....and a top shot of her too :)
