nope, started outdoors from seeds april 30th......with jus good 'ol sunlight.

one question.....since i plan to transplant them tomorrow, when should i start using fertilizer and whats a good fert brand?

When I grew indoors with just plain potting soil with some perlite I didn't fert till about week 4~5. But, they were quite a bit larger than what you got there because they got lots of sun (18/6 light sched.), and larger pots.

For veg stage a higher in nitrogen mixture be used, maybe a combination of 20-20-20 and 30-10-10. Then for flowing you want a higher P, go for something like 12-38-14. Jacks, or Fox Farm, or generic will do...

Not done any outdoors myself, but I certainly have smoked the results! Some amazing stuff to be had outside :)

Your plants look to be doing great to me, one thing about ferting is, you never need to fert plants before a repot/transplant, as you're giving them yummy new soil anyway.

okay i transplanted a few plants into the ground..... i jus need to get more soil tomorrow. I took a pic of the bag of soil i got and also the 1st successful transplant.

how deep should the hole in the ground be when i transplant it.....i think i did a decent job.....I jus gotta buy more soil and do the rest......and when should i start to use ferts?

I guess that would depend on how good the soil is around the plant.

okay i got new pics.....i took five today......theyre lookin good the only problem i see is some of the plants leaves are getting eaten by bugs or flies......what can i do to prevent this.....is there some kind of bug repellent for plants?

these plants i think it has bug problems.....i see bite marks on its top leaves and its leaves are curling and turning yellow......my friend said it might be the soil that it was in before the transplant.....i recently just transplanted it into good soil from crappy dirt from the ground. i just want to know what can i do about the bug problems.....and it looks like its dying.....what can i do to save these......thanks

okay, i think i might cut the bottom off a clear 2 liter soda bottle and place it in the ground over the plants to protect them......and unscrew the cap off the mini green house to allow the heat out. What do you guys think.....cause i think i might be getting a bug problem on 1 or 2 plants. Its jus to protect them and when they outgrow it, ill jus remove it.

Hm, I never heard of someone doing something like that. I don't see how it could hurt. Have you read about someone else doing that somewhere? I say give it a try, and see what happens.

Updtae: took 2 pics today again.....and i also bought some Miracle Grow All Purpose fertilizer. 24-15-10 i think......i dont really remember the exact NPK.
