![]() ![]() | planting methods after germ'd? ok ive germed my seeds for planting outdoors and im woundering if i should plant them inside for like a week or so and grow them until they are out of the soil then plant them outdoors or should i just start off planting them outdoors?? any help would be awesome! | ||||

![]() ![]() | Re: planting methods after germ'd? yes plant them inside for two weeks if possible under a bright fluro light 1/2" above the tops for 24 hours a day...if not you can put them on windowsills but the BIGGIEST thing you can do to help and make it all worthwhile is have a fan blowing on them just enough to make them wiggle. That will really help stiffen and thicken the stems even if only done for a week and then the wind won't blow them over when you move them outside. so when you ut them in cups of dirt, just make a hole with a pencil (or your finger) about as deep as your fingernail, place them in stem down and gently cover/fill in the hole. You don't want to plant them too deep. Soak the soil first before putting the sprouts in and then wait a few days and they should sprout. | ||||
