i really wanna know how to grow shrooms. i know a little bit. to prepare the substrate i kno you need Vermiculite, Brown Rice Flower, and Water into canning jars. you need to sterilize everything by using a pressure cooker or hot steam from boiling water. and then inoculation by injecting the spores into the canning jars.

But i really want to know if you want to grow shrooms outdoors. would you do the same? Do you need to get it going first with canning jars and everything first indoors? and then bring em outdoors? or can u start it outdoors? oh and where can i get good canning jars for this, what stores sell canning jars?

You can get the jars anywhere. Walmart, kmart, fred meyer. Just make sure they are widemouth with no lip.

I don't know much about growing outside, but It is definately doable. Just as long as it's 70+ degrees F and over 85% humity at the very least for them to pin.
