| Amateur | Tempature. I live in the U.P. of michigan. Currently its 45 Degrees F. The temp is suppose to me an average of the 50s through out the week and next week, but the problem is, its getting down to the 30s at night. I have two seeds that have sprouted already (their tap roots are about 1/4" to 1/2" right now) its my first time growing and I want to grow out doors, what can I do? Would it be possible to put them in some soil in cups, keep them in doors (they wouldn't get light from 6am-3:30pm, but they would get light from 4pm-dark which is about 4-5 hours. Would this work untill they actuly sprouted into little plants? ... i need help! |

| Amateur | Re: Tempature. Actuly, could I leave them outside ALL DAY in about 50degree weather, and then bring them in at night? Or will this stress them too much? It would only be untill they actuly sprouted out of the soil (i haven't planted them yet), then they would be outside full time and transplanted. |

| Amateur | Re: Tempature. Ok cool, I'll do that, but when they sprout, and if its not warm enough by then. Can I put them outside for like 6 hours a day, then put them back inside? they would be in the dark the rest of the day in room tempature if i did this.. or can they grow is 50 degree weather? |

![]() ![]() | Re: Tempature. Buy a small $10 lamp and a compact fluro, the kind that screws into normal lamps for like $7 at walmart and use that for a week inside at night. Hopefully by then night temps won't go below 45f and then you can start thinking about putting them outside for good. Basically, after they sprout they need as much light timewise as possible. Good luck! :) | ||||
